# SMARTEYE-Guest – How to log in a device onto the internet manually – wired and open Wi-Fi

You need to log in **via the hotspot** webpage: [**http://hotspot.studenteninternet.be**](http://hotspot.studenteninternet.be) or **[http://hotspot.smarteye.eu](http://hotspot.smarteye.eu)**for both a wired connection and the unsecured wireless network.

**Step 1**

Connect your computer via one of the available options:

- Wired network connection
- open Wi-Fi **SMARTEYE-Guest**

**Step 2**

**Open** your **browser** (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Opera, Safari, Firefox, etc)

**Step 3**

**Go** to **[http://hotspot.studenteninternet.be](http://hotspot.studenteninternet.be)** or **[http://hotspot.smarteye.eu](http://hotspot.smarteye.eu)**

- The hotspot mentions the location of the subscription: **stnXXX**
- If you are not yet logged in the **login page** will appear where you can log in or register yourself.
- If you were already logged in, you will now be able to log off.

> Some devices such as telephones log off automatically in order to save the battery. If possible, use one of the following Wi-Fi networks: **SMARTEYE-Secure** or **eduroam**
