How to surf the Net from a different location than home (= roaming)?

< 1 min read

Roaming is surfing the Net at another location than the one included in your subscription.

You are then able to surf thanks to the signal of a nearby location or via the academic network eduroam.

The use of roaming is possible with certain subscriptions but you will then be surfing at a much lower speed and you will be running the risk of having an unstable Wi-Fi signal which can interrupt your session!

When using roaming you will be informed of this after logging in.

If this message appears while you are at your own location, check whether you are connected correctly to the wired network connection or Wi-Fi of your own location to ensure the benefit of a stable and fast Internet connection.

Important! No support is given when using roaming, always try to connect to your home location for best experience.
