How can I connect my own router?

The use of your own router is strictly prohibited and can disrupt the internet.

Using apparatus with incorrect settings can in certain cases not only lead to a slow internet connection for yourself and your fellow students, it can also unwittingly use up all of your available data.

The consequences for you and your fellow students through incorrect use are not much fun.

Apparatus not installed by our own technicians are not supported by our services. Specific questions regarding this apparatus will not be dealt with by our services.

You can recognize one of our own official apparatus if it has the sticker with our logo on it.

If you want to have Wi-Fi connection in your room, contact your landlord. Only your landlord can decide whether or not Wi-Fi is available in your building. Studenten Internet has no say in this matter.
