SMARTEYE-Guest – How to log in a device onto the internet manually – wired and open Wi-Fi

< 1 min read

You need to log in via the hotspot webpage: http://hotspot.studenteninternet.be or http://hotspot.smarteye.eu for both a wired connection and the unsecured wireless network.

Step 1

Connect your computer via one of the available options:

  • Wired network connection
  • open Wi-Fi SMARTEYE-Guest

Step 2

Open your browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Opera, Safari, Firefox, etc)

Step 3

Go to http://hotspot.studenteninternet.be or http://hotspot.smarteye.eu

  • The hotspot mentions the location of the subscription: stnXXX
  • If you are not yet logged in the login page will appear where you can log in or register yourself.
  • If you were already logged in, you will now be able to log off.

Some devices such as telephones log off automatically in order to save the battery. If possible, use one of the following Wi-Fi networks: SMARTEYE-Secure or eduroam
